Jag Care provides JA students with before and after school care in a safe, structured environment that encourages academic growth and social development.
We are only licensed for 48 children in this program. At this time, we do not have an option to expand Jag Care. Students enrolled in JagCare have the option of returning each school year, according to the Enrollment Priority below. A lottery is held each spring for any remaining openings.
Enrollment Priority
1. Returning JA Elementary JagCare students from the previous 2023-2024 school year, including incoming siblings needing 4-5 same-day morning and afternoon sessions each week.
2. Returning JA Elementary JagCare students from 2023-2024 school year, including incoming siblings needing 4-5 afternoon sessions each week.
3. Returning JA Elementary JagCare students from the 2023-2024 school year, including incoming siblings, needing 4-5 morning sessions each week.
4. New students to JA Elementary JagCare needing 4-5 same-day morning and afternoon sessions each week.
5. New students to JA Elementary JagCare needing 4-5 afternoon sessions each week.
6. New students to JA Elementary JagCare needing 4-5 morning sessions each week.
7 All those needing 1-3 same-day morning and afternoon sessions each week.
8. All those needing 1-3 same-day afternoon sessions each week.

Non-School Days: 8:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m.
We will need a minimum of twenty students signed up on non-school days to provide care.
There is one time per school year registration fee of $50.

We offer a 10% discount for families enrolling multiple siblings and children of staff members (Families are eligible for only one discount.)
Summer Program
Summer is a time for cooperative activities, field trips, play with friends, working on projects and more. JagCare is a Colorado licensed child care center which provides before and after school care, specified all-day care and half-day care to students enrolled at Jefferson Academy Elementary School in a safe, structured environment that encourages academic growth and social and emotional development.
JagCare plans intentionally for active and play based learning experiences.

Program Operation
The hours of operation during summer are Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 6:00pm and are subject to change. Dates TBD

To register your child, please contact JagCare’s Program Director. Enrollment for summer programs is open to current Jefferson Academy Elementary students. JagCare is licensed to supervise children between 5 years of age up to 12 years of age.
Daily Fees per Student
- Single Day Enrollment -- $50.00
- 5 Day Weeks -- $200.00
- Drop-In Fees are an additional $5.00 per day
