Parent Survey - Each year the School Accountability Committee sends out surveys asking questions about your experience within our community. This survey has been circulated for several years and has helped us provide insight to the JA Board of Directors which has improved areas at both the elementary and secondary campuses. The survey will be open until Sunday, April 2nd Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey. Link
Mileage Club is back - Every Tuesday & Thursday during lunch recess for grades 1 - 6, weather permitting.
Butter Braid Delivery - Friday, April 7. Orders will be delivered to the students’ classrooms.
Spring Pictures - Individual and class pictures will be Wednesday, April 12. Order forms will be distributed to students next week.
Educational Needs Form - We do not take teacher requests. However, if you have specific educational concerns with your student, you may complete an Educational Needs form. These are available in the office. These forms must be submitted by Friday, April 14.
Event Admission Sale for Timehop is OPEN! Friday, April 21st, from 6:30 - 8:30 PM, the JA PTO will bring back this much-loved JA tradition - with a new twist! Timehop is a celebration of ALL the decades from the 1950's through today. Decade themed costumes are highly encouraged - but not required. Admission is just $5 per person (with a maximum of $20 per family) and must be purchased in advance. No on-site or day-of admissions will be sold. The sale will remain open until April 14, 2023 at 11:59 PM. Get your order in now using Cheddar Up and get ready to enjoy an evening of fun with your JA family! Admission includes: DJ & Dancing, Carnival Games, Magician, Balloon Twisting, Face Painting, Bounce House & Photo Booth.
Class of 2030 Families will also host a Coat Check, Concessions, Jaguar Jackpot & Sweet Street. Tickets for these items are available for pre-sale as well as on-site. (Cash preferred, Credit Cards Accepted)
The Establishment (Event Venue) has a maximum capacity of 1000 persons, so there will be a limit to the number of admissions sold.
Field Day (Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd grade) - Friday, April 28. Kindergarten will be in the morning 8:05 - 10:45 a.m. Kindergarten students (only) will have a half day and be dismissed at 11:30 a.m. Lunch will not be served to Kindergarten students. 1st & 2nd grade students will participate in the afternoon from 11:45 - 2:30 p.m. and have a full day of school. Spectators are welcome. Grades 3rd - 6th will have Field Day on Friday, May 12. More information will soon be provided.
Assessment Days - Thursday, May 4 and Friday, May 5. There are three sessions. Students will only attend one session on one of these days. Thursday’s sessions will be 8:00 - 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. The Friday session will be 8:00 - 11:00 a.m. Lunch will not be served. Classroom teachers will be sending out a link to sign up next week. Again, your student will attend only one session.
School Supplies – Time to order for next year! Order from 1st Day School Supplies for your student’s next grade level with this link through May 24. Supply kits will be delivered to your student’s classroom before the Meet-n-Greet in August. $5 from each box comes back to the school. Thank you! Please contact Susan Zabaronick with any questions.
