 Parent/Teacher Conferences – Wednesday & Thursday, March 20 & 21.

Book Fair – In the Commons during conferences.

Lost & Found – Please check both Lost & Found areas. There is one located near the office and one on the east side near the entrance. All unclaimed items will be donated over spring break.

Jag Care Lottery – Families that are interested in our before/after school program must participate in the lottery. This form will be available beginning April 8 on our website under Programs or you may pick up a form in the office. These must be submitted by the end of our business day on April 25 (3:30 p.m.).

Primary Technology -  First and second grade technology students just finished writing and decorating winter stories. You can read the stories in their Google Classroom.  For information on accessing them, click on the Primary Tech link at the bottom. Also, all primary tech students have begun to work with Bee-Bots, programmable floor robots.

Student Safety:  Ensuring all our students and families remain safe is a priority at JA.  One easy way to protect pedestrians and our families in cars is to obey posted stop signs and speed limits.  As drivers get in a hurry, it is easy to zip through the parking lot and neighborhood without really focusing on other cars and those that are walking.  Please take those extra few seconds to check your surroundings. Thank you for your cooperation.

Butter Braids. - The PTO will be conducting the annual Butter Braid fundraiser from March 4 - March 18. Hard copy order forms went home in Monday folders last week. Orders and money must be returned by Monday, March 18. The Butter Braids will be delivered to the school on Wednesday, April 3 after school in the Commons.

CMAS Testing – These are state assessment tests given to 3rd through 6th grade students in the Spring. The window for testing begins the week before Spring Break and goes through the month of April. Please check the Monday notes from your child’s classroom teachers with the specific days/times.  Please avoid taking your child out during testing. If your child is ill during their testing time, please keep them home. They will have an opportunity to make up testing.

Lego Engineering Enrichment – This will be an after school program on Mondays, April 8 – May 6 from 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. at a cost of $90.  Students will explore principles of engineering while building with a massive collection of Legos.
