Sock Hop Decorations Needed – The decorating committee has a limited budget and needs your help. They need empty, square, Kleenex boxes, pink and turquoise plastic table clothes, 50’s milkshake glasses, and balloons!  There is a donation box near the front office.  Thanks for your help.

Sock Hop Tickets (Friday 20th) – These are still available. Limited tickets may be purchased at the door ($10/child & $15/adult – check or credit card only, NO CASH). Pre-orders will be accepted through tomorrow, Tuesday, April 17 (save $3 per ticket). 

Lunchroom Volunteers Needed – Please consider assisting during lunch. The link to sign up is on our website, – Programs – Lunch. Volunteers may bring younger siblings when volunteering during lunch. This is a great way to complete your family volunteer hours (20 hours per year).

CMAS (Colorado Measure of Academic Success) Testing – 5th grade students will finish with tests this week. Makeup testing will take place for students who may have missed testing.

Mileage Club – April’s special charm day - The Raindrop Romp is coming up on Tuesday, April 17th.  Students who run 4 laps that day will earn the raindrop charm!  Please remind your student to wear athletic shoes.

Summer Bridge Books – Orders and money are due by April 26.

Clinic Donations Needed –
Girls pants/sweats in sizes 5 -7.

Jag Care (before/after school program) – If you are interested in placing your children in this program for the next school year, you must participate in the lottery. Students that are currently enrolled are not guaranteed a position.  Families needing four or five days of care, before school, after school or both, will be given priority. Per state regulations, we are limited to 50 students and we need to maximize our program. The form will be available on our website on April 9. Completed forms must be submitted by Thursday, April 26 at the end of our business day.  Families will be contacted the week of May 1. 

Family Math Night – Thursday, April 26th from 6:00-7:30 p.m., for students currently in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Parents will visit the classroom(s) of the upcoming grade level of their students and get a taste of what math will look like next year. A teacher at each grade level will walk parents through an average day of math instruction and offer strategies and resources to assist their students with math homework assignments. There will also be time for parents to ask math curriculum related questions. In a separate setting, students will have the opportunity to participate in math activities and games related to their upcoming year’s curriculum.

Family Math Night Schedule
6:00-6:15 Parents and students arrive (staff will be on hand to give directions)

6:15-6:45 Teacher session #1/student math activities

6:45-6:55 Transition time

6:55-7:25 Teacher session #2/student math activities

There are two identical teacher sessions offered for families with multiple children. Students are welcome to stay in the activity sessions for the entire time parents are attending the sessions.

Students must be accompanied by an adult to attend this event.
